About Michael M. Ciaburri
Michael M. Ciaburri has spent 36 years in the commercial finance industry as both a commercial banker and private commercial lender. Prior to starting Worth Avenue Capital, LLC in 2008, Michael was the President, CEO and Co-Founder of Southern Connecticut Bancorp. (AMEX:SSE) and The Bank of Southern Connecticut in New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Ciaburri earned a BA in Economics in 1983 from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York and also earned graduate degrees in commercial banking at both The School for Bank Administration at The University of Wisconsin in 1988 as well as The Stonier School of Banking at The University of Delaware in 1991.

I formed Worth Avenue Capital, LLC in 2008 after a 26 year career in commercial banking and business finance including an eight year stint as President; Chief Executive Officer; and Co-Founder of a boutique commercial bank in Connecticut. WAC specializes in providing funding solutions alternative financing and advisory services for both small businesses and real estate developers who are having difficulty obtaining conventional bank business financing as well as negotiating bank workouts in a distressed situation on our client’s outstanding bank loans.
Alternative Financing Solutions and Debt Capital for Businesses
Since our inception, we have closed numerous transactions for our clients and have been successful at closing many of these transactions whose underlying circumstances were very difficult and challenging. As our nation’s distressed economy continues to linger and the bank’s underwriting standards for small businesses remain stringent for the near term, WAC will continue to enable our clients to access alternative financing solutions and debt capital for their businesses that was previously not available to them. In addition, we will continue to provide expert advisory services for our clients who need to negotiate with a bank on their outstanding debt.
